Pakistan vs India: ICC Champions Trophy 23 Ferruary 2025

Pakistan vs India: ICC Champions Trophy 23 Ferruary 2025

The highly anticipated ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match between India and Pakistan is scheduled for tomorrow, February 23, 2025, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The match is set to begin at 1:00 PM local time (GST), which corresponds to 2:30 PM Indian Standard Time.

India is missing out on playing their matches in Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 because of the heightened geopolitical and security issues between the nations. The Indian government has time and again proved to be a stumbling block when it comes to sending the cricket team to Pakistan because of the restricted regulations and security concerns.

Because of this, ICC and PCB have worked together on a proposal that makes use of a hybrid model tournament in which India’s matches are streamed from a neutral country, the United Arab Emirates. This model serves the dual purpose of allowing the tournament to occur and India’s security concerns to be appeased.

Affecting India’s matches in the Asia Cup 2023 was relocated to be played in Sri Lanka instead of Pakistan, thus promoting this hybrid model. Regardless of the issues, this ensures that no further hiccups can occur in the tournament because of political discord.
